About Me
I am a Psychologist (having studied Psychology both at Bachelors and Masters degree) :-)
I encountered Drupal about five years ago when trying to set up a community based organic content site for the firm I was working with at that time. After a very short spree of exploration, I fell in love with Drupal (4.x version at that time) for it's sheer beauty of architecture, and its ability to "hook". Since then, I have offered consulting services and developed numerous web applications and corporate sites in Drupal & PHP. I have worked as a open source practice head and Drupal architect; developed many web sites in Drupal and offered consulting services for many others.
To me, drupal is magical. It is alive. It is an organic system in itself that has abilities to self-sustain, collaborate, and grow. It respect's others demands and dependencies. Instead of a closed workflow, it is open to changes as the situations demand. To me these qualities sound so similar to the ones that characterize a harmonious ecological being. The way it allows you to create dynamic websites with such ease is really stimulating. Coding in the Drupal framework gives me immense joy.
For over five years now, I have worked on a varied range of Drupal websites including social networking sites, content management sites, blogs, galleries, corporate websites, and others and always end up in awe of the ever-expanding potential of Drupal. I have introduced many people to Drupal and have helped others to learn. I belive that more than anything else, the Drupal community is awesome and has played, and will continue to play, a vital role in the success and improvement of Drupal.
